How the quest unlocks
Talk to Mamumu, a Nopon mother, at Nharil Central Plaza in Alba Cavanich, Mor Ardain. Requirements: Chapter 8 started and Vale's Key Affinity level 5 unlocked — her whole Key Affinity line is Trust-only (Lv 2 = 100, Lv 3 = 1,300, Lv 4 = 3,800, Lv 5 = 9,800 Trust). Xeno Series Wiki additionally requires Nia, Tora, Mòrag, Zeke, and Vale in the party. Completing the quest is required for Accursed Prison level 5 on her chart.

Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Mamumu at Nharil Central Plaza in Alba Cavanich to accept the quest.
  2. Gather data about the apocalypse cult around Alba Cavanich — you must talk to Barulu and Nedward.
  3. Report back to Mamumu at Nharil Central Plaza.
  4. Head to the ROOFS of the Admar Storage Zone in the middle of the night.
  5. On the rooftops, ask both Enzozo and Zonori about Mamumu's daughter Mimin.
  6. Defeat the Gluttonous Pterix (Lv 56), the daemonic bird the cult summoned, on a rooftop overlooking Nharil Central Plaza.
  7. Investigate the cult's ceremony in the Wrecc Marshland, Gormott — the ceremony site can only be reached by jumping down from Dewmist Crag.
  8. Defeat the Ravenous Arachno (Lv 58 boss) in the Wrecc Marshland.
  9. Investigate the final ceremony in the Vault of Heroes, Spirit Crucible Elpys, interrupting Mimin's sacrifice.
  10. Defeat the Voracious Aspar (Lv 60 boss) — if the fight drags on it uses "Skin Upgrade", raising its level and fully restoring its HP.
  11. Report to Mamumu at Nharil Central Plaza to finish; Vale convinces Mimin to go home to her mother.

Good to know

  • Two hidden triggers trip people up: the rooftop informants in the Admar Storage Zone only appear in the middle of the night (change the clock), and the Wrecc Marshland ceremony spot is only reachable by dropping down from Dewmist Crag — you cannot walk in from the marsh floor.
  • Burn down the Voracious Aspar fast: stall too long and Skin Upgrade levels it up and fully heals it, effectively resetting the fight against a stronger enemy.
  • Vale needs zero quests or Heart-to-Hearts to reach Key Affinity 5 — it is pure Trust (9,800), so keep her deployed, use merc missions, and feed her favorite pouch items (Desserts/Textiles) well before Chapter 8.
