How to get Poppi QTπ: Not a Core Crystal Blade: Poppi QTπ is an artificial Special Legendary Blade (rarity 3), the third form of Tora's Poppi, created by completing the quest 'Powered-Up Poppi'. Per the wiki she is 'the only Legendary Blade that is completely optional to obtain'. She starts as an Ice Attacker but her element, role, arts and skills can be changed freely via Poppiswap using Tiger! Tiger! parts.

How the quest unlocks
NPC trigger: speak to Tatazo in Tora's House, Torigoth, after (1) starting Chapter 8 and (2) viewing the Heart-to-Heart 'Growing Up' on the eastern side of the Ansel Hatchery in Fonsett Waters, Leftherian Archipelago (participants: Tora, Poppi QT, Pyra). The wiki adds that Nia, Zeke, Tora, Mòrag and Pyra are required for all quest objectives except steps 2, 4, 10 and 13.

Walkthrough
- View the Heart-to-Heart 'Growing Up' at the eastern side of the Ansel Hatchery (Fonsett Waters, Leftheria), then — with Chapter 8 started — speak with Tatazo at Tora's House in Torigoth to accept the quest.
- Collect ten Golden Cogs in Temperantia (Pyra not required for this step).
- Report back to Tatazo at Tora's House.
- Complete three gathering objectives in any order (Pyra not required): collect five Cubic Diamonds in Mor Ardain (a collectible found in the Old City of Teddim), collect 12 Ambler Stigmas in the Land of Morytha, and purchase three Genbu-Weave Cloth at Boldarde Textiles in Theosoir, Tantal.
- Report back to Lila at Tora's House, then speak with Tatazo again.
- Travel to Goldmouth Flight Deck in Argentum and speak with Fleecyflossy to enroll Poppi in Bluesky Nopon University.
- Lesson 1: decode the blackboard — requires a party Forestry Lv. 5 field-skill check.
- Lesson 2 (observation): when asked to identify the Nopon, you must choose Kalukalu and then Beltran; picking Yatata, Lulumu, Gruth or Cheelo forces a retry.
- Lesson 3: decode the second blackboard — requires an Ancient Wisdom Lv. 3 field-skill check.
- Final exam: defeat the Torl Marrin at Goldmouth Flight Deck (Lv. 50 per Neoseeker — a genuinely tough fight).
- Report to Fleecyflossy to receive the Graduation Certificate, then report back to Tatazo at Tora's House.
- Charge the device at Tora's House to 100 points by feeding it items: 50 Volt Battery = 30 points each, Screw Coil = 2, Dynamo Turbine / Gold Condenser / Digital Filament = 1 each. 50 Volt Batteries come from the repeatable Merc Mission 'Energy for Remodeling'. Filling the bar completes the quest and creates Poppi QTπ.
Good to know
- The charging device is the infamous part: most components add only 1-2 of the 100 needed points. Do NOT dump rare parts in — run the Merc Mission 'Energy for Remodeling' repeatedly and feed it 50 Volt Batteries at 30 points apiece (4 missions covers it with margin).
- The 'Growing Up' Heart-to-Heart needs Pyra, and Pyra is also required for most quest objectives — if she is story-locked out of your party, you can still knock out the collection steps (Golden Cogs, Cubic Diamonds, Ambler Stigmas, Genbu-Weave Cloth) in the meantime.
- The Forestry 5 check is the steepest gate; it is a whole-party check, so stack Forestry Blades (Poppi QT herself cannot help — QTπ's own Forestry only exists after the quest).
