Blade Quest · Switch 2
MOMO
Quest: “The Home of the Soul” — Kingdom of Uraya (near Loska's Gap); continues in Theosoir, Tantal (Elmos Square, Anastatia's, Sekis Pillar) and returns to Uraya's Old Quarry
LightDark Bunnie (Bitball) HLR From Chapter 6
How to get MOMO: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition exclusive Rare Blade (guaranteed, no RNG): awakened from the Pretty Core Crystal, which Tora gives the party at his house in Torigoth (Gormott) after he and Poppi join the party — this hand-off is the short quest "Tora's Secret Stash". Drivers: Rex, Nia, Zeke, or Mòrag. Unique gimmick: she is the only Rare Blade with two elements — Light in Real Mode, Dark in Imaginary Mode (as "MOMO (i)"). She has no Heart-to-Heart.

Story progress
Chapter 6 or later
Fandom's availability table: Chapter 6 Started; Xeno Series Wiki says after completing Chapter 6 (i.e. Chapter 7). Pyra is among the required party and is absent during Chapters 8–9, so do it in Chapters 6–7 or from Chapter 10.
How the quest unlocks
Triggers near Loska's Gap in Uraya once the prerequisites are met (Fandom lists MOMO as the quest giver — she reacts to woodworker Lazarus, who is carving a doll for his daughter Rose — and Rose looks uncannily like MOMO). Prerequisites per Fandom: quest "Tora's Secret Stash" completed, MOMO's Key Affinity level 4 unlocked (2,000 Trust), and MOMO, Pyra, Nia, Tora, Zeke, and Mòrag all in the party (Xeno Series Wiki lists Pyra and Zeke plus 'after completing Chapter 6'). MOMO's own Key Affinity level 5 node reads: "Go to Loska's Gap in Uraya and complete the quest The Home of the Soul."
Field skill checks
- 100-Series Observation Lv 3 (Real MOMO's exclusive field skill) — checked at Sekis Pillar in Tantal during the quest
Required quests
- Tora's Secret Stash (Tora's House, Torigoth — awaken MOMO from the Pretty Core Crystal, then hear Tora out at his house)
Also required
- MOMO Key Affinity Lv 4 = 2,000 Trust
- Party must include MOMO, Pyra, Nia, Tora, Zeke, and Mòrag (Fandom)
Walkthrough
- Trigger the quest near Loska's Gap in Uraya, then defeat all 3 bandits at the Stone Gate Ruins, Uraya.
- Look for the stolen lifestone at the Old Quarry, Uraya.
- Defeat all 4 bandits at the Old Quarry: the Bandit Chief (Lv 40) plus 3 Bandits.
- Travel to Elmos Square in Theosoir, Tantal, and gather info about Rose — first from the Town Youth and Town Boy, then from the Town Girl.
- Speak to Rose at Anastatia's in Theosoir.
- Look for traces of merchant activity at Sekis Pillar in Tantal — this is a 100-Series Observation Lv 3 field skill check that only Real MOMO can fill.
- If the check fails, extra objectives appear: raise Real MOMO's 100-Series Observation to Lv 3 using her favorite pouch items (Art-category items x6, then her favorite Staple Food Master's Curry x2), then redo the check.
- Look for the merchant at Sekis Pillar, then defeat all 3 Rooka Ansels there (the local Ansels are Lv 40-42).
- Report to Rose at Anastatia's in Theosoir.
- Return to the Old Quarry in Uraya and look for Lazarus to finish the quest.
Good to know
- MOMO is the only Rare Blade with two elements: Real Mode is Light, Imaginary Mode (“MOMO (i)”) is Dark — she swaps modes in battle, and each mode has its own specials, battle skills, and field skills.
- The Sekis Pillar step is the confusing part: it is a Lv 3 check of MOMO's exclusive 100-Series Observation skill, and the objectives telling you to raise it only appear AFTER you fail the check. Stock Art-category pouch items (x6) and Master's Curry (x2) in advance.
- The quest silently requires a six-character roster (MOMO, Pyra, Nia, Tora, Zeke, Mòrag per Fandom), so it cannot appear before the mid-game even if MOMO's affinity is ready.
- Note the level jump: Uraya bandits are ~Lv 40 but the quest is tuned for post-Chapter 6 parties — clear it alongside other Tantal-era content.
