How the quest unlocks
First view Gorg's Heart-to-Heart 'Sweet Strategy': with Gorg equipped, sleep at Anastatia's inn in Theosoir (Tantal), then view the H2H near the Theosoir Main Gate. Also requires Gorg's level 3 Key Affinity node (Increase Trust to 1,300). Then speak to Alban at Fonsa Myma Port in Uraya. Xeno Series Wiki: Nia, Tora, Morag, Zeke and Gorg must be in the party (Pyra NOT required — consistent with it being completable in Chapter 8).

  • Gorg's level 3 Key Affinity Rewards unlocked (Trust 1,300)
  • Completion-gated: Armu Milk Earl Grey (a needed baking ingredient) cannot be obtained until Cafe Lutino moves to Fonsett Village partway through Chapter 8

Walkthrough

  1. Accept the quest from Alban at Fonsa Myma Port, then gather the story of the shipwrecked paintings: listen to Bennett at Fonsa Myma Gate, Gamri at Fonsa Myma Port, and Rhidluk in the Entertainment District.
  2. Travel to the Isle of Terminomni in the Leftherian Archipelago to find the wreck surrounded by Aligo.
  3. Collect the ingredients for Gorg's monster-distracting concoction in Leftheria: 1 Beautiful Shoot, 2 Lemon Stones and 4 Hide 'n' Creepers.
  4. Return to the Isle of Terminomni, then collect the three Alban's Paintings from the wreck site.
  5. Report to Alban at Fonsa Myma Port; he offers Gorg the use of an empty shop.
  6. Go to the shop in Fonsa Myma's Commercial District and bake cookies — several trial batches are possible, but only Trial Neon Cookies advances the quest.
  7. Bake flan next — only Trial Snipe Flan advances the quest.
  8. Bake cake last — only Trial Lovemerry Cake advances the quest; Alban then bequeaths the shop to Gorg, completing the quest.

Good to know

  • Infamous timing trap: the quest can sit unfinishable in your log for two chapters. The Armu Milk Earl Grey needed for one trial dessert cannot be bought until Cafe Lutino relocates to Fonsett Village partway through Chapter 8, even though the quest can start as early as Chapter 6 (per the Fandom wiki's own note).
  • In each baking step you can make several trial desserts, but only one specific recipe advances the quest: Trial Neon Cookies, then Trial Snipe Flan, then Trial Lovemerry Cake. The rest are dead ends, so don't waste rare ingredients.
  • The prerequisite Heart-to-Heart has its own hidden trigger: you must sleep at Anastatia's inn in Theosoir with Gorg equipped before 'Sweet Strategy' appears near the Theosoir Main Gate.
