Quest: “Precious Yearnings” — Kingdom of Uraya — Commercial District of Fonsa Myma, triggered at the Folmarie Inn (quest giver: Agate). Prospecting spots span Gormott, Uraya, Mor Ardain, Leftheria, Tantal, Temperantia, Spirit Crucible Elpys, and the Land of Morytha.

How the quest unlocks
Rest at the Folmarie Inn in Fonsa Myma's Commercial District with Agate, Pyra, Nia, Tora, Mòrag, and Zeke all in the party. The Fandom Blade page says this can trigger 'during or after Chapter 5', and Xeno Series Wiki lists it as 'Chapter 5 (after Zeke joins the party)'; XSW additionally lists Agate's Lv 2 Key Affinity as a prerequisite. There is no 'Unlock Quest' affinity node — the inn stay with the full party is the trigger.

  • Prospecting (Agate-exclusive) Lv 1-3 — the quest itself levels it; the final dig at Womb Hollow is a Prospecting Lv 3 spot
Also required
  • Full Driver roster required (Zeke joins at the end of Chapter 5), plus Pyra
  • The final ore is in the Land of Morytha (Womb Hollow), so the quest cannot be completed before Chapter 8

Walkthrough

  1. Rest at the Folmarie Inn in Fonsa Myma with the required party; Agate reveals her dream of discovering a brand-new mineral.
  2. Look for a new type of ore at the Old Quarry, Uraya.
  3. Meet Misimisi the jeweler at the Argentum Trade Guild; he appraises the find as rare but already known.
  4. Work through the eight Prospecting Lv 1 spots: Coolley Lake, Gormott (ambush — Lv 25 Ground Caterpile); east of Yurna the Elderwood, Uraya (Lv 21 Gronta Gyanna); Brionac Occupied Zone, Mor Ardain (Lv 30 Armor Scorpox); Fonsett Island, Leftheria (Yawn Lazuli); Pippito's Haunt, Tantal (Verdi Crystal); north of Toxbloom Spring, Temperantia (Lv 40 Demon Antol); west of the Ardainian Garrison, Temperantia (Gong Crystal); Penitents' Spring, Elpys (Absorp Quartz). Bring finds to Misimisi for appraisal.
  5. Work through the seven Prospecting Lv 2 spots: south of Nocclia Timber Site, Gormott (Greenmarine); Funnystone Highway, Uraya (Lightocyte); Jelidorend Highlands, Mor Ardain (Trollenite); west of Old Plumbing Entrance, Mor Ardain (Stormstone); Aegishammer, Temperantia (Dusky Pearl); Isle of Sleeping Remains, Leftheria (Lightning Pearl); Wonder Spring Plaza Ruins, Elpys (Darkcyte).
  6. Work through the Prospecting Lv 3 spots: Twin Trunks Hill, Gormott (Himahistone); Minnet Terrace, Uraya (Lv 23 Gronta Gyanna ambush); south of Tirkinlandia, Tantal (Lv 41 Magnl Caterpile); west end of the Great Pillar Passage, Tantal, on the southernmost rock wall (Crystal Dome); west of Penitents' Spring, Elpys (Lv 45 Vashar Caterpile).
  7. Investigate the cliffs in the Womb Hollow, Land of Morytha — Agate finds a large banded red rock.
  8. Have Misimisi appraise the ore at Goldmouth Flight Deck, Argentum: it is genuinely new, and after nearly naming it 'Repymynidro-pomòbrizepan' Agate names the mineral after herself.

Good to know

  • Play on patch 1.2.0 or later — an earlier bug could block quest progression entirely.
  • The Twin Trunks Hill Lv 3 spot disappears once Agate's Prospecting reaches Lv 3, so the Himahistone there is only obtainable in New Game Plus — don't hunt for it forever on a first playthrough.
  • Not every prospecting spot yields ore — several are monster ambushes (up to Lv 45), and the finale needs Land of Morytha access, so treat this as a long, multi-chapter quest even though it starts in Chapter 5.
